“More well-being to life”: the EnjoyEvoo programme continues, focusing on taste, health and Mediterranean culture
With the slogan “More well-being to life”, the second year of Enjoyevoo continues, the three-year project promoted by Unaprol, the Italian Olive Consortium and CAP – Confederação dos Agricultores de Portugal, pursuant to EU Regulation No. 1144/2014 for the promotion in Japan and Taiwan of DOP, IGP and BIO certified Extra Virgin Olive Oil. After the success of the first year, the initiative continues with its well-established calendar of activities designed to bring more and more consumers closer to one of the symbols of Mediterranean culture.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is not only a precious ingredient in European cuisine, but also a true ally of everyday well-being. Rich in natural antioxidants, it helps protect the body from free radicals, slows down cellular ageing and helps prevent chronic diseases. Its monounsaturated fats, when consumed in place of saturated fats, help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. Added to this are its anti-inflammatory properties and support for the digestive and nervous systems, making it a key food in a balanced diet.
This naturally leads to the claim ‘More well-being to life‘: incorporating EVO oil into your diet means bringing more flavour, health and quality to your everyday life. This claim, in the second year of the Enjoyevoo Project, perfectly sums up the philosophy behind each of its activities: to promote, through European Extra Virgin Olive Oil certified as PDO, PGI and organic, a lifestyle that combines tradition, flavour and well-being, in harmony with the eating habits of Japan and Taiwan.
Enjoyevoo was created to spread the culture of European extra virgin olive oil in the most dynamic and quality-conscious Asian markets, such as Japan and Taiwan. After four successful years of activity, the project now aims to build consumer confidence by reminding them of the importance of EVO oil in a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. In 2025, the programme will continue with a calendar full of initiatives already underway, from promotions and tastings in selected restaurants and retail outlets to seminars in vocational schools to train future catering professionals, as well as recipe books and educational materials designed to guide consumers in incorporating EVO oil into their everyday cooking.
