The second year of EnjoyEVOO, the three-year project co-funded by the European Union and promoted by Unaprol – Consorzio Olivicolo Italiano and CAP – Confederação dos Agricultores de Portugal, under EU Regulation No. 1144/2014, with the aim of promoting Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) and Organic (BIO) olive oil in the Japanese and Taiwanese markets.

After the excellent response obtained during the first year, the project is being consolidated with a rich programme of initiatives aimed at introducing a growing number of international consumers to the quality, culture and versatility of EVO oil, a key ingredient in the Mediterranean diet.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is one of the foods that symbolises European well-being and agri-food tradition. Rich in polyphenols, monounsaturated fats and natural antioxidants, it is appreciated not only for its nutritional qualities, but also for its fundamental role in Mediterranean cuisine, where it enhances flavours and promotes a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Taiwan: restaurants become ambassadors for quality EVO oil

From 20 October to 30 November 2025, Taiwanese consumers will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique sensory experience thanks to 140 promotional days dedicated to certified EVO oil, organised in a selection of renowned restaurants in various cities across the country. During these days, it will be possible to taste dishes designed to enhance the characteristics of PDO, PGI and organic extra virgin olive oil, in a culinary journey through authentic flavours and European traditions.
