Mediterranean Flavors in Tokyo: Enjoyevoo Launches the New Season with EU-Certified EVO Oil

Tokyo, September 2025 – Following the success of its first year, the project Enjoyevoo—promoted by Unaprol (Italian Olive Producers’ Union) – Consorzio Olivicolo Italiano, and CAP – Confederação dos Agricultores de Portugal, and co-funded by the European Union (EU) under Regulation (EU) No. 1144/2014—kicks off its second year in Tokyo with a rich program of activities aimed at promoting PDO (Protected Designation of Origin), PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), and Organic (BIO) Extra Virgin Olive Oils in Japan and Taiwan.

Over 400 Days of Promotional Activities

From September to December 2025, Tokyo will once again host more than 400 days of activities across selected restaurants and retail outlets. Through guided tastings, special menus, creative recipes, and informative materials, consumers will learn about the excellence of EU-certified products, with a special focus on traceability, sustainability, and Mediterranean culture.

At the heart of these activities is Sabina PDO EVO oil, crafted from blends of varieties harvested between October and December, including Carboncella, Leccino, Raja, Frantoio, Olivastro, Moraiolo, Olivago, Salviana, and Rosciola.

The oils presented offer sensory characteristics distinguished by a yellow-green color with delicate golden reflections, instantly conveying freshness and elegance. On the palate, a fruity and velvety taste unfolds, releasing a bouquet of intense and complex aromas. The balance of sweet, bitter, and spicy notes completes the experience, fully expressing the richness of top-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. These sensory traits make it an ideal ambassador of Mediterranean flavors and the certified culture of olive growing.

Event Calendar

The Enjoyevoo program is already in full swing in Tokyo and surrounding areas, with a wide variety of initiatives bringing new energy to restaurants and shops in the Japanese capital.

Promotions begin on September 8 at Trattoria Ruggio, Mamma Luisa’s Table, Hostaria Casa Bella, and Sakurazaka Vivace, running until October 1. During the same period, pairings and tastings will be offered at Clandestino 41, Courlis, Kilo, and Pizza Strada, through September 28. Tanta Roba (until October 6) and Peperosso (until October 8) will also take consumers on a culinary journey.

At the same time, retail activities will kick off. The Storie d’Italia boutique, located in central Tokyo, will host initiatives from September 8 to December 16, serving as a hub for the project’s promotion. Buongustaio stores (Edogawabashi, Hongo, Nezu, and Kagurazaka locations) are already hosting events: after early September dates, new sessions are scheduled for September 19–21, 23, and 26–28. A packed October schedule will culminate in a grand finale on October 31.

This broad and dynamic itinerary—totaling over 400 days of promotional activity—will bring EU-certified Extra Virgin Olive Oils to the forefront of Tokyo’s gourmet scene, offering local consumers a genuine Mediterranean experience.

Through these activities, Japanese consumers will enjoy a unique journey blending tastings, culture, and sustainability. By combining the thousand-year roots of Mediterranean cuisine with the harmony and refinement of Japanese gastronomy, this journey creates a new synergy in the name of quality and authenticity.
